First Move Chess Academy (R) is mainly founded to encourage chess in students. It was started in August 2019 in Mysore.

• Arbiter examination and designated Senior National Arbiter in 2021.

• 2 years in the academic year 2015-16 & 2016-17 Represented University of Mysore in the inter University South Zone chess meet.

• 1 year In the academic year 2015-16 a ended chamundi zone inter-collegiate chess champion which was conducted by department of physical education, university of Mysore.

• Participated in Nationals open Fide rating chess tournaments in Goa, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Punjab, Bihar, Gujarath, Madhyapradesh States.

We offer flexible chess classes both online and offline, so students can learn in the way that suits them best. Whether at home or in-person, our sessions are designed to make learning chess fun, engaging, and effective. Offline Tournaments

Our offline chess tournaments bring students together from different schools and backgrounds to compete, learn, and grow. These events offer a great platform to experience the excitement of live, over-the-board games while building sportsmanship, patience, and quick thinking. From first-timers to seasoned players, every child gets the chance to apply what they’ve learned, make new friends, and build real confidence — one move at a time! ♟🏆
